Fkk’s designs are based on milling efficiency and optimization.
There are two core aspects in the R&D management: The first is the need to develop the technology necessary to manufacture the given product, and the second is the need to enhance the production technology in order to improve competition in the market.
Orders received are first considered according to material specifications and transformed into a project aiming at developing a solution. The documented theoretical solution is then subjected to practical research. Next, a prototype is built based on the practical research and once it has been ensured that it offers the desired functionality, the technology development process for the production is successfully completed. As a result of the ongoing R&D processes, the company has now the capability of supplying products and to replace imported alternatives to various markets. Major R&D activities of our company are listed below:
Manufacturing mill linings and lifter bars for the mining industry.
Manufacturing fenders for the maritime industry.
Major R&D activities of our company:
Automatizing the process of manufacturing shock absorbers made of porous Vulkollan® material typically employed in the automotive industry.
We work closely with our customers and carefully analyze their requests in order to optimize the products we supply for existing operating conditions. After the work carried out in the R&D department, the data is transferred to the rubber production workshop, where qualified specialists produce rubber of a certain recipe and with certain characteristics required for each specific customer.
Quality control procedures involve raw material inspection and chemical and physical tests assuring that FKK rubber linings are manufactured at high quality standards and in line with customer expectations.
